Voice Capture ("we", "us", "our"), operated by Genius Labs, provides a voice transcription platform for surveys and research ("Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our Service at voicecapture.ai.

2.1 Account Information

When you register, we collect your email address and password (hashed). If you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect billing information through our payment processor (Stripe).

2.2 Audio & Transcription Data

When survey respondents use the voice widget, we temporarily process audio recordings to generate text transcriptions using OpenAI's Whisper API. Audio files are processed in memory and are not permanently stored on our servers. Transcriptions are stored in your project database.

2.3 Usage Data

We collect anonymized usage metrics (response counts, feature usage) to enforce plan limits and improve the Service. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our website.

2.4 Chat Data

If you use the AI help chat, your messages are processed by Anthropic's Claude API to provide assistance. Chat history is stored to maintain conversation context.

• Account data: Retained while your account is active, deleted upon request
• Billing data: Retained as required by law (typically 7 years for tax records)
